I love making my own granola; it makes the house smell delicious and is very rewarding to make something that is so simple taste so good! If you are in a hurry and can’t make your own, I love Fit Chick Granola!
- 2 Cups Rolled Oats
- 1 Cup of chopped nuts (I like to use a mixture of pecans, walnuts & almonds)
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 2 Tbsp. melted coconut oil
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 3 Tbsp. crunchy almond butter
Mix all the ingredients together until well blended. Spread onto a cookie tin lined with parchment paper – keeping the mixture binded together evenly to ensure even baking. Bake in the oven at 325 degrees for about ½ hour; flipping the mixture ½ way through. Let it cool and then serve! If you aren’t using immediately, transfer to an airtight container once completely cooled.
